Collector notes
The listed original edition is distinguished by a textured front and back cover, the title “Rocks” in quotation marks, and the absence of “All Rights Reserved...” text near the bottom of the back cover. It was issued with a printed inner sleeve; inner-sleeve inclusion for this individual copy has not been confirmed. Later pressings are described with a smooth cover, an unquoted title, and the additional rights text.
Edition notes identify stamped STERLING and P runout markings; the P denotes Columbia’s Pitman pressing plant. One documented variant lacks the STERLING stamp on side A, so individual runout markings can vary. The album is dedicated to the memories of Anthony D. Perry and Herb Spar.
