Dune [Standard Edition] [Blu-ray] - New

David Lynch brings Frank Herbert’s science-fiction epic to the screen as a singular vision of dynastic conflict, prophecy, and the struggle for control of the universe’s most precious resource. On Arrakis, the only source of the spice Melange, House Atreides and House Harkonnen are drawn into a power struggle shaped by forces beyond either family. When Duke Atreides’ son Paul finds himself at the center of the conflict, an ancient prophecy may change the fate of the galaxy.

After years of anticipation following Alejandro Jodorowsky’s unrealized adaptation, Lynch’s Dune arrived with striking production design and visual effects. Kyle MacLachlan makes his screen debut as Paul in a cast that includes Francesca Annis, Leonardo Cimino, and Brad Dourif. This standard-edition Blu-ray features a restoration from the original camera negative and a substantial selection of archival extras.
