John Lennon & Yoko Ono – Reflections & Poetry - Sealed

Number- 001322

Explore the spoken-word side of John Lennon and Yoko Ono with Reflections & Poetry, a two-LP collection pairing interview excerpts with Lennon's poetry readings. This sealed copy is a distinctive addition to a Beatles-related collection, offering conversation and literary material rather than a conventional studio album.

About this release

The set contains excerpts from John and Yoko's two-and-a-half-hour RKO Radio interview recorded on December 8, 1980, together with poetry readings from the 1960s. Narration by Bob Miles and incidental music connect the spoken-word selections.

Tracklist

Collector notes

The original release notes identify several printed track-title errors: “I Sat Below Me” refers to “I Sat Belonely” from In His Own Write (1964); “Yuk An Yono” refers to “Jock And Yono,” taken from Lennon's contribution to the Beatles' 1969 Christmas record; and “Frank's Cummings” refers to “The Wumberlog (Or The Magic Dog)” from A Spaniard In The Works (1965).

The edition is described as individually numbered on a silver-and-black “LIMITED EDITION COLLECTORS” sticker on the rear jacket. Original release notes also list a folded 14 × 11-inch color poster, matching label graphics across both discs, and matrix markings that do not align consistently with the corresponding sides. Internal contents and playback condition have not been inspected because this copy is sealed.
