ABOUT THE MOVIE

Meg 2: The Trench (2023) is the action-packed sequel to the 2018 shark thriller The Meg.

When a research expedition ventures into the mysterious depths of the ocean, the team discovers dangerous creatures lurking far beneath the surface.

As the mission spirals out of control, Jonas and his crew must survive a terrifying confrontation with gigantic Megalodon sharks and other deadly underwater threats.

Directed by Ben Wheatley, the film delivers spectacular ocean action, giant prehistoric creatures, explosive adventure, and the larger-than-life thrills that made the franchise popular with audiences.

SPECTACULAR ORIGINAL THEATRICAL ARTWORK

This poster features one of the most dramatic images from the film's theatrical promotional campaign.

An enormous prehistoric Megalodon dominates the upper portion of the artwork, its gigantic mouth opening to reveal rows of razor-sharp teeth.

The scale of the creature is emphasized by Jason Statham, positioned directly below its jaws as he races across the ocean on a yellow jet ski.

Water explodes around him while the massive shark rises behind, creating a thrilling scene of danger and escape.

The striking blue-gray ocean imagery contrasts with the bright yellow typography.

Inside the shark's open mouth appears the memorable promotional tagline:

NEW MEG. OLD CHUM.

Near the bottom, the bold theatrical title reads:

MEG 2: THE TRENCH

The poster also features the original release announcement:
