From acclaimed action director Benny Chan comes an epic martial arts adventure starring Andy Lau, Nicholas Tse, and Jackie Chan, featuring spectacular Shaolin Kung Fu action and a powerful story of redemption.

Set during the turbulent early years of the Republic of China, ruthless warlord Hou Jie (Andy Lau) rules through fear, violence, and ambition. His hunger for power leads him to betray his enemies without mercy, but when a devastating tragedy destroys his world, he is forced to confront the consequences of his actions.

Seeking refuge at the legendary Shaolin Temple, Hou Jie encounters compassionate monks who teach him the principles of humility, discipline, forgiveness, and inner peace.

As he begins to embrace the teachings of Shaolin Buddhism, his former second-in-command Cao Man (Nicholas Tse) rises to power, threatening the monastery and the innocent people who depend on its protection.

When violence reaches the temple gates, Hou Jie must choose between the ruthless warrior he once was and the honorable man he has struggled to become.

Featuring breathtaking martial arts choreography, powerful performances, and an unforgettable appearance by Jackie Chan, Shaolin delivers an extraordinary combination of action, drama, and traditional Kung Fu philosophy.
