"Zebra Killer" (also known as "The Get-Man" or "Combat Cops") is a 1974 American blaxploitation film directed by William Girdler. Here is a synopsis:

Synopsis:

Set in the gritty urban landscape of 1970s America, "Zebra Killer" follows the intense investigation into a series of brutal murders terrorizing the city. The killer, known as the Zebra Killer, is a deranged maniac who dons whiteface makeup to disguise his identity and leaves behind a trail of gruesome crimes.

Lieutenant Frank Savage (played by Austin Stoker) is the dedicated and tough-as-nails detective assigned to the case. He teams up with his partner, Officer Doug "Hondo" Hamilton (played by Hugh Smith), to track down the elusive murderer. As the body count rises, Savage and Hondo face increasing pressure from the public and their superiors to bring the killer to justice.

The investigation takes Savage and Hondo deep into the seedy underbelly of the city, where they encounter a variety of colorful and dangerous characters. Their relentless pursuit of the Zebra Killer leads them through a maze of clues, red herrings, and deadly confrontations.

The film explores themes of racism, justice, and the challenges faced by law enforcement in dealing with a cunning and ruthless adversary. The climax builds to a tense and explosive showdown as Savage and Hondo close in on the killer, determined to stop his reign of terror.

"Zebra Killer" is notable for its gritty portrayal of urban crime and its place within the blaxploitation genre, characterized by its strong African American leads, social commentary, and a focus on action-packed storytelling.
