Finding Bliss is a smart, charming romantic comedy that takes an affectionate look at the world of independent filmmaking — from the inside out.

Aspiring filmmaker Jody Balaban (Leelee Sobieski) arrives in Los Angeles with big dreams and a completed script — only to discover that Hollywood's doors don't open easily. Desperate for access to professional equipment and studio facilities, she takes a job at an adult entertainment company, planning to secretly use their state-of-the-art gear after hours to film her passion project.

When her scheme is uncovered, Jody is forced into an unlikely collaboration with the studio's celebrated — and notoriously difficult — director, Jeff Drake (Matt Davis). What begins as a clash of ambitions and creative egos slowly evolves into something far more complicated: a genuine, unexpected romance that neither of them saw coming.
